Dr. Skibell is a native Texan. After completing his pre-dental studies at the University of Texas in Austin, he received his Dental Degree from the University of Texas in Houston. He practiced dentistry for two years as a Captain in the United States Army in Augusta, Georgia. After completing his service in the Dental Corps, he returned to the University of Texas Dental Branch to earn a Master's Degree in Orthodontics. Dr. Skibell is married to Rochelle Skibell, a Houston native, and they have two great children, Bentley and Hillary. He has been practicing cutting edge orthodontics in Houston for over twenty years, and has been a diplomate of the prestigious American Board of Orthodontics since 1987. Dr. Skibell is an active member for the American Association of Orthodontics, College of Diplomates of American Board of Orthodontics, Southwest Society of Orthodontics, The American Dental Association, The Texas Dental Association, The Greater Houston Dental Society and a member of the medical staff of Texas Children's Hospital. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, snow skiing and traveling.
